About Arjun
I am a resident physician who is passionate about teaching other aspiring professionals, be it in medicine or business or any academic sciences.
Experience: Over the last 5 years, I have tutored for MCAT prep, several medical and business school classes, and USMLE Step exams

I have always been passionate about teaching and it is something I have done in my local community. I started off by tutoring younger members when I was in high school in various science and history courses and grew to tutor a number of students for college and medical school exams.
I have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Southern California. I also have a Bachelors of Art in Political Science and Biology from Tufts University. I also scored in the 97th percentile on my MCAT.
Over the last 5 years, I have tutored over 20 students in the following subjects: history, SAT/ACT prep, MCAT prep, science classes at a high school and above level, USMLE prep for medical school students, and basic business classes.

First we have an introductory session where we evaluate what method of learning works best for the student and discuss what their goals and struggles are.
I have worked with students from high school, college and medical school.
Look for a tutor who has recently experienced what you are going through and who is still in touch with current studying methods.
One recent event that I am fond of is when last year an aspiring medical student had asked me for help in preparing for the MCAT exam. He was stuck at a plateau and was not happy with the scores he was getting in practice exam. I worked with him weekly and helped him raise his score from the 70th percentile to the 90th percentile which allowed him to get into his goal medical school!
