About Margaret
One of the greatest challenges in learning and teaching chemistry is to make it interesting easy to understand. I my teaching I don't just pass on information and skills, but also enthusiasm for chemistry. I work with students with different experiences, backgrounds, learning capabilities, and interests. I view each student as an individual and honor different learning styles and abilities.
I have been a full-time chemistry professor for 17 years. I developed my passion for teaching in graduate school and it continues to this day. As a faculty member at a community college, I devote my time to working with a great variety of students. I am able to adjust my teaching style to the needs of all my students.
I have been a college professor for the last 18 years.
