About Devon
Science and math isn't everyone's forte, but it shouldn't be torture. I'll help you break things down into their most basic principles and we will develop the logic to build on those basics so more advance concepts come easier. From high school to graduate level, I'm here to help.
I am a research professonal with a masters in medical research methodology. I currently research Parkinson's Disease, and mental health disorders and their epidemiology and am a published author on a variety of papers. I was previously a high school allied health teacher and have a passion for helping students make their studies easier by finding the break in the understanding.
I tutored throughout my graduate training and then taught high school allied health. This gave me a range of levels that I am able to connect with and teach
I have a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Stony Brook University, and a master's in medical research methodology. I currently work as a project manager and statistician researching Parkinson's Disease. I also conduct epidiological research on mental health factors in adolescents. I've taken graduate level course in biochemistry, physiology, anatomy, histology and many more. I taught as a high school teacher and learned how to break these complicated topics into simplier explinations to develop coherent and linked understanding.
