About Kathryn
I have more than twenty years professional teaching experience with students of all ages and abilities both in the US and abroad. I teach using games, songs, and student interests. I have my professional teaching certificate in Elementary Educaiton (K-6), English as a Second Language (K-12), Exceptional Student Education (K-12), Advanced Gifted Placement, and Science Resource Endoursement. My wide variety of experience gives me a unique perspective and ability.
I initally began teaching English as a Second Language in Istanbul, Turkey in 1994. I feel in love with teaching and began the process of certification soon thereafter.
I have my TESOL certificate and participate in ongoing professonal development training annually.

We initally needs to understand where the student's baseline currently lies. From there I want to know the student's interests and strengths and create lesson plans based upon their interests and needs.
I have worked with children, youth, and adults ranging from special needs to advanced gifted placement.
Be ready to have fun and participate!
