About Robert

I am a passionate music educator with expereience teaching private lessons as well as tutoring for music theory/history. I have a rich history as a performer and composer/arranger. I have performed as a soloist for competitions as well as been selected to have my original music performed as well. I have over 3 years of teaching experience in various settings. I have received multiple awards throughout my undergraduate including Excellence in Music and the Teachers of Promise award. I will be finishing my degree in Music Education within the month. While I primarily offer music based tutoring, I have experience tutoring subjects outside of music.

I grew up in a family filled with musicians and educators. I was determined to blend the two and decided to pursue a career in teaching music. To me, teaching is much more than a job, it is a calling to give something positive to the world.

I have recently finished my B.A. in Music Education from Eastern Mennonite University.

About the lesson

I will first try to determine where you are currently at in your learning process. From there we will determine where you are wanting to go and what kind of support you will require to get to your goal. I want to help you reach the goals that you have set.

I have worked with students of all age ranges and of varying ability.

Details

I currently charge $25 per half hour lesson or $45 for one hour lesson. All lessons will be conducted over video chat. I will offer an initial lesson for free to determine if lessons would be the right fit for you.
