About Kaurina
I grew up in Singapore, as an A student, which has a very rigorous education system. In Singapore I taught in schools - English, Speech and Drama, Science, Biology and Chemistry, and Fine Arts. When I moved to Canada, I went to the University of British Columbia, where I received the Outstanding Student Award, and Golden Key Award for being in the top 10% of students. I continued my passion for learning and teaching, by tutoring middle school and high school students alongside my career in the health field. I love helping young people be passionate about learning, and be confident in their abilities and their lives.

I explain everything so clearly and use real life examples so students really get what they are learning. I listen to students' needs and teach them personalized study methods so they are confident in doing well. Lastly, I am able to teach so many varied subjects, students don't have to look for different tutors for all the different subjects they need help with.
