About Gillian
I've had a passion for history all my life. When I was a little girl, my father always took my brother and I to historical locations (Colonial Williamsburg, Salem and Boston, St. Augustine, etc), which ignited my desire to learn more about history. In college, some excellent professors used their own passion for history to show me that this was a viable career path. I've been teaching social studies for 15 years now. I have 10 years high school experience, including AP World and APUSH, as well as 5 years middle school experience. While my area of expertise is American History, having taught Global and AP World has made me an expert there as well!
