About Eli
My mother is a teacher and would take me with her in the summer's to her classes to this day she is probably one of the best communicators and very understanding of how to pass information on in an effective way. I share those same qualitites.
I graduated highschool top of my history classes I have awards from teachers to state officals for recognition of my schoolwork. I also was/am smar in english so it helps with seperating information from a question, I also have studied philosophy in my spare time to help me understand philosophys impact on american politics.

I focus on figuring out what my student is struggling on and helping them work through understanding how to assess their work, Find answers using sources and become confident in understanding the historical timeline that connects their issue.
I have worked with highschool students attempting to pass regents or history exams, this was during or post highschool. I have also tutored Drumming for multiple students.
I would say look for someone who is going to help you understand what you are learning, wwhen you understand history from almost a story persepctive it gives you a new way of understanding and retaining the information needed. keep this in mind, you still have to learn!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should try to address as many sources as soon as possible before reaching for a teacher. Learning and understanding each subject will allow students to have these sources in their mind
