About Jason
I believe in the ability of all students to succeed and know I can help each student reach their full potential. I am a fully licensed history and social studies teacher in MA for grades 5-12 so I have a strong background in the education field along with having been teaching grades 6-8 for the previous 3 years. I am currently working towards my Masters of Education at Boston College which means I will be up to date on the newest developments and practices within the field of education. Being a young male teacher, I find my students connect with me easier than other teachers and this connection allows for greater and more authentic learning to take place.

I prefer getting to know my students on a personal level and finding out who they are. This allows me to know how to work with them and differentiate the way I teach in order to fit the student personally. I also will do a baseline check to see how much my students' know in order to gauge where we need to start and where we think we can finish.
