About Brianna

I started tutoring kids in 2005. I volunteered at local elementary schools and helped tutor children in reading, writing, and math. I also tutored my classmates and students grade levels above me in high school.

When I graduated with my B.A. in psychology I continued to tutor typical and special needs children. After I got my M.A. in elementary education I homeschooled a 5th and 2nd grader during the COVID-19 pandemic.

About the lesson

Initial Consultation

To determine your child’s needs and areas of improvement your OTS tutor will conduct an assessment. During the assessment session, you and your child will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn about the services they will be receiving.

Middle and elementary aged students

1. Look at their qualifications

2. Look at their experience

3. Look at their results with past clients

4. Look at the curriculum they use

I was so happy that I almost cried when I found out that one of clients was able to raise his English grade from a F to an A with only 4 months of tutoring.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. What do you want to get out of the tutoring sessions?

2. What time works best for a tutoring session?

3. Where do you want the tutoring session? (online, in person, at your home, or a public place)
