About Elizabeth
I enjoy teaching and love math, and I wanted to find a job opportunity while I was nannying.
I tutored a sophomore in high school in algebra 2 with trig and another student in calculus. I also helped two kids I nannied, ages 7 and 9, with their homework for two years.

First, understand what type of learner the student is to be able to recognize the student's specific learning habits and then tailor the tutoring strategies around his or her needs. It is also advised for the student to send me his or her assignments before the scheduled tutoring session so I can better prepare to teach the material to assist the student in learning effectively.
Students of all ages, including elementary through high school and even some college.
To get the most out of a tutoring session, the student needs to want to learn and be taught and be able to take advice and take the time to learn the material without distractions.
