About Paulina
I have had the privilege of teaching over 100 students from different ages back in Costa Rica. My specialty is high school math but have had the opportunity to teach Spanish and science as well. My students love my patience and the fact that I understand them and get along with them on a personal level. I love watching them flourish and achieve their goals.
After I graduated from high school, I was hired by a local company called the Launch Pad as a homeschooling teacher and had a terrible experience with their system and methodology. Therefore, I decided to start my own business as a tutor and my patience and genuine interest for my students helped me differentiate my business from others.
I graduated salutatorian from my bilingual high school back in Costa Rica. I studied business management and graduated with honors from University of Costa Rica. I Tutored students for five years while I completed my major and afterwards did a semester abroad at the University of Bristol in England.

I like to get to know my students on a personal level on my first class and understand their strengths and weaknesses as well as their goals. Afterwards, I set up a schedule for the term with important dates regarding exams and quizes. During our first session, I like to understand their learning style and preferences in order to explain my method and process.
Students from ages 4-18, both female and male and from different high schools.
I would advise to look for someone who will genuinely be interested in your progress and understanding of the subject.
