About Hunter

I can help you get far ahead by explaining the foundational ideas of math. As well as present to you what's really going on beneath the layers of arithmetic and number crunching. I'm a young adult who can connect well and explain what's going on to you in a way you can understand.

I enjoy seeing people's faces light up as they finally understand something that never have before. Being able to give people that feeling I've had of working to get some where and feeling it really "click" is what it's all about. It's all about sharing the passion of growing your understanding along with mine.

I always loved to show my friends math and explain to them what the teacher didn't have time to explain because they would always say I explained it better or that now it makes sense. I enjoyed talking about it so much that sometimes I just didn't have anyone to talk about it with.

I have tutored many kids as well as gone through AP Calculus BC. I have also taken Multivariable Calculus at Vanderbilt University and taken Linear Algebra online through Brandman University

About the lesson

Usually I figure out what they know and how I can use that to explain to them the steps to use that knowledge so they can learn what they don't know in a way that seems like it's something they could've figured out on their own.

Generally high school and below but I'd to work on Calculus as it's my favorite subject to teach.

Find someone who is excited to talk about math and inspires you to be excited as well. Someone who truly values math and values you understanding the concepts and the big picture ideas.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Every question should be thought through on your own if you can because it will fortify your mind. But if you need to learn it quickly or you are really struggling a teacher can help explain the bigger picture and push you towards the right path for learning.
