About Joy
It's been about 3 years since I founded my own Tutoring Business. Through active engagement and teaching techniques not provided by a traditional classroom setting, I'm able to provide my students with a motivation to learn that they hadn't received prior. Throughout high school, I took 16 AP courses and passed all of the exams, including but not limited to AP Calculus, AP Computer Science, AP Literature, AP Chemistry, etc, as well as having over a 4.5 GPA.
I currently work on LAUSD's Council as well as Mayor Eric Garcetti's Council, where I'm actually trying to reform our education system, so this might give you a glimpse into how truly dedicated I am about Education. I even want to later get a job within the United States Department of Education.
