About LAYLA
Personal tutor. Help students work through problems rather than directly giving answers. Current UCLA student who scored a 5 on the AP Calculus AB and BC exams. Pre-med and taking mathematical modeling classes at UCLA. Low Rate - $20/hr!
Math has been a passion of mine since I was in middle school. The repetition of it, the consistency, is always what has driven me to the numbers.
I have served as a tutor for nonprofit organizations and for pay in high school. One of my clients ended up going from barely passing Geometry to getting a 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam! You may not always like math, but it is definitely always POSSIBLE to achieve the grade you want!

We should get right into it with our first session. Ideally, the student could tell me ahead of time what subject matter they are having trouble with so I could search my archives for extra practice questions. My goal is to have my student feel like they understand the concept they were having trouble with before meeting with me. My goal is always that the student should walk away from our session and feel that it has benefitted their learning!
