Dr. Johnson was an amazing professor and tutor during my time at Bethune-Cookman University. I majored in Computer Engineering with a minor in Mathematics, so I had to take most of the math classes that the school offers, and for a few of those classes, Mrs. Johnson was my professor. She made learning Calculus and Linear Algebra really fun and exciting, when the subject itself can be really boring! The courses were challenging, but she always had her office open for us to come by and ask for further instruction. Through her instruction and tutoring I was able to pass all my math classes, and receive my Computer Engineering degree with the math minor! I now work in Software Development for a Fortune 500 Fintech company! A professor and tutor like Dr. Johnson comes once in a lifetime!

Dr. Johnson taught me calculus in college. In addition to her mastery of the subject, Dr. Johnson’s approach to teaching and tutoring helped cultivate and enrich my understanding of the material. She takes the time to work individually with students to address their specific needs, tailoring her approach to the student in front of her.
