About Robert
Hi my name is Robert and I am a Civil Engineer, specifically working in bridge design! I have an Associate's Degree in Engineering from Brookdale Community College, a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, and I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree also.
Engineering is a math-intensive discipline that requires a fundamental understanding of Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus. Math-related science, such as Physics, is necessary also. As a result of my degree and career experience, I am intimately familiar with these concepts.
Above all though, the most important skill to have in my field is communication. None of the work I do is done alone, and so being able to explain my thought process is critical. Math-inclined individuals are notorious for being able to "just know" how to do something, without explaining their process very well. I take pride in my ability to break down a problem, and explain it in a way that anyone can understand.
My studies and career path have also required many exams. Regardless of the material being taught, I will also share various tips for effective test-taking to achieve the best results!
