About Anirudh
I provide one on one service and I will always be available to respond to any questions,, via text. I prep material before hand because I try to be more than just a homework tutor. I strive to provide supplemental information to reinforce new information.
I love to see students progress. Personally I love math, and so I am an Applied Mathematics major at RIT. I enjoy explaining people the logic behind math and science because it can serve as an eye-openning experience.
I got started tutoring at my local library. I've tutored at least 15 different people during my high school years from the library alone. With covid and all that going on I would love to try to get involved in the online tutoring community.
I graduated top 10% of my high school class and I am currently a second year applied mathematics and computing security student at the honors program in RIT. I have many years of experience tutoring at the library and around the neighborhood with subjects including grade school math to calculus one.

When working with a new student, I like to start a little bit slower so that I can get my student more adjusted to my lingo and the way I approach math. I try to get the student and how they like to learn. I am a very visual learner so it's easy for me to teach concepts that I have a good understanding about through visual means. However, being well aversed in my understanding of such content, I don't struggle with instructing content efficiently verbally too. I don't like to to study nonstop because I feel like that can become fatiguing and obstruct the message of a lesson. So I tried to be very efficient with my time and I like to progress at a Wait and see approach because I don't think a student should be bounded by the constraints of a timeline for learning that would be constructed before I even met him or her.
I've worked with young kids ranging from second grade to seniors in high school. I have worked with both passionate learners and kids who weren't as eager to learn. I have brief experience with tutoring special ed.
When you're looking for a tutor, I hope you find someone who's available around the clock. Learning is a 24/7 activity and it shouldn't be restrained to 30 minutes or an hour a week. Learn ing has a lot to do with studying new concepts, but it has a lot to do with that independent work where you have to find out problems by yourself and make sense of problems by yourself. A teacher or tutor can't force a student to understand the concept even though they are tasked with aiding in the learning experience. Teaching is a two-way street so I hope said student puts in the time to explore concepts on their own.
I'm a very team-oriented person with great communication skills. has a costume I'm very fond of my days throughout the semester coordinating meals with my roommates and planning out a cooking schedule with them. Through covet interaction has been scarce relative to precovid, so it's nice to have a group of people to battle out the days with.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I hope a student would think about a problem until they hit a roadblock that they couldn't get past. However, at the same time a student shouldn't have to think too hard about messaging a teach in my opinion. Communication streams between a student and teacher should be very open.
For academic questions not pertaining to that one class, a student can also ask about themselves.
A student should ask what type of learner they are, what type of study habits have worked for them in the past, what type of organization do they have now, and has those study habits worked for them. They should analyze what's worked and what hasn't. Though a teacher and tutor may help with learning content they also have the experience that help you better learn in general with proper study skills and that's an appropriate thing to ask for help in. Perhaps It might even be the best question.
