About Stephen
I am available at (concealed information) for a quote; reach out anytime! I love teaching, and I am always happy to help a student reach their goals, whether they want to start with the basics, receieve challenging enrichment, finish some homework, or prepare for a test.
I think teaching is extremely rewarding overall; being able to watch a student pick up material is wonderful.
My very first teaching role was being a piano teacher in high school, which led me to tutoring at a variety of tutoring centers as well as to my private tutoring in math and ACT/SAT.
At Stevens Institute of Technology, I was a commuter, a double minor, someone who graduated a semester early, and the valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA. I have formal training in ACT/SAT (from Tutormeafter3 in Wyckoff NJ), mathematics (I was a math minor at Stevens), and writing (from the Stevens Writing and Communication center, where I worked for a number of years).

I first like to ask about their goals for the session(s), and then I come up with a mutual game-plan with the student for acheiving those goals.
All ages! I've worked with as young as first graders and as old as college-aged. I would say high schoolers are who I work with most frequently, though.

Details
My virtual lessons are $65 for an hour. I also use a referral rewards system, where a student can get a 50% discount on a session if they refer another student who has a session (and that new student's first lesson would also be 50% off).
