About Kacie
I have been a bilingual elementary teacher for six years. I have experience in kindergarten through middle school. My passion is helping young students unlock the magic that is being bilingual. My favorite subjects to teach are math and science. There is so much fun to be had in learning!
I enjoy he helping students to feel successful. When they develop a sense of accomplishment and confidence, learning becomes easier and more enjoyable for them. They want to continue as life-long learners, which is every teacher's goal.
I have bachelors in elementary education and Spanish. I have a masters in curriculum planning and instruction. I have been a bilingual elementary teacher for five years.

I would first get to know the whole student. I, of course, need to know their academics, but students will feel more comfortable and do better when they feel important and cared about. Our first activities would be to get to know each other and set goals.
I have worked with a wide variety of students in my five years. Those that are struggling a little, those that are many grade levels behind in their learning, and even those that are working on advanced material beyond their grade level. I have worked with students who are new to learning Spanish, have never practiced learning a language before, and students who have no English acquisition at sll - as well as the spectrum of students in between.
