About Steven
I've always loved math. I often find myself reading about abstract and niche math concepts just for fun.
However! I am extremely aware that others might not have the same interest in it as me. Many say they hate it! I don't doubt them, but whether they hate it or not, I think a lot of frustrations arise due to a lack of personalized teaching.
People learn abstract concepts in very different ways. I love to find ways of explaining the concepts I find so interesting in a way that satisfies the student. I hope to find a way of teaching each student that avoids frustration and maximizes understanding of the material.
I have a math minor, which means I've worked through all major math subjects up to and including mathematical analysis. I have always enjoyed and been passionate about finding out how those around me can better understand and appreciate math without being frustrated.
