- Bachelors degree with honors in Computer Science and Math, University of Puget Sound
- More than 5 years' tutoring experience at high school and college levels
- Flexible hours - available Mon - Sat 8 am to 7 pm.
I have worked with students from middle school to college, and helped all of my students improve their grades, test results, and study habits.
I was a teaching assistant as an undergraduate student for the Mathematics and Computer Science department at my university. Since then I have continued my practice into graduate school.

Make it a habit to practice whatever you're struggling with a little bit every day. You'll feel much more prepared on your tests even if you had difficulty on the homework.
I think the benefit of remote learning is the ability to leverage technology to connect with students regardless of location.

Try to work through a simple version of the type of problem you're working on, then extrapolate your learnings to tougher ones.

Deadly! Sam was great to work with, he was knowledgeable on the subject material and did a great job breaking down tough concepts into simpler parts. I will definitely be looking to hire Sam again when I'm stuck and need help.
Deadly! At first I was hesitant to hire a Math Tutor because I wasn't sure if it was worth the time and money, but after 3 lesson's with Sam I'm glad I did.
