About Charley
I've worked and volunteered for 12 years as a tutor in difficult institutional settings with lots of distractions and limited access to technology. I started with Math60 and went all the way to Math261 in that same environment, giving me a much greater and deeper understanding of the subject matter and how other people adapt and digest the concepts.
I am adaptable, patient, and will persevere with anyone willing to stick it out! Solving rational equations, integration by parts, Laplace transforms--whatever the topic, we'll get through it!
My preference is to work on a deeper understanding of the material, but I recognize anyone who isn't a STEM major usually doesn't have an interest in that, and I can be laconic as well.
I am presently finishing my AAOT before moving on to Nuclear Engineering, with the intent of getting an MS or , and hoping to expand my tutoring abilities as I venture out and apply myself to engineering and physics courses.
