About Dianna
I am a current third year at Saint Mary's College of Maryland: The National Public Honors College majoring in Mathematics. I came into the school with credits from College Algebra and Statistics while at Chesapeake College during my dual enrollment days. I am currently enrolled in Foundations of Mathematics and Vector Calculus at SMCM, but I also did an internship at a local middle school in an advanced 7th-grade math class. I see the students struggling and the teachers growing frustrated over the fact that they are being forced to move on from lesson to lesson before. children have the chance to grasp a concept. I am here to provide the extra help your child may need in math subjects that they were not able to receive at school.
Well, I am majoring in Math with a minor in Educational Studies. I spent a summer working at my town's Summer Camp and although I was not involved with teaching students I do know how to interact with them and I have a very strong support system full of educators. One of them being my mother who is a special education teacher.

I like to see where they are at academically first so there is a chance that they will have to take an assessment. No worries though, this is only to see what we need to work on. Then after maybe a week or two, they will receive the same assessment to take and this will see how much they've learned.
