About Julissa

My name is Julissa Lundquist. I am a licensed educator, and received a degree in Special Education from Brigham Young University. I have been a teacher for over 6 years working across multiple school districts both in-person an online. I love working with students who want to improve their skills, and I love to teach! My favorite subject is math, and I love providing data-based strategies that will help you set goals and reach them. I also love to teach other subjects like reading, science, test prep, English as a Second Language, Spanish, and Harp.

I am available to tutor both locally and online. I have extensive experience tutoring my students from the comfort of their home, and I am able to be flexible to work with your schedule. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you are interested in my help with any of your tutoring needs.

I began teaching after receiving my degree in Special Education. I fell in love with helping my students realize their potential and succeed!

I have a degree in Special Education from Brigham Young University with an English as a Second Language (ESL) Endorsement. I also have a minor in Harp performance. I have worked as a special education teacher and director of special education for multiple educational institutions in brick-and-mortar schools and online.

About the lesson

As a new student, I will meet with you to get introduced, evaluate your needs, and determine whether my tutoring services are a good fit. I am happy to offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to anyone interested in my services.

I have worked with students in K-12 in brick-and-mortar schools & virtually.

Deadly! Our experience with Julissa has been amazing! She was able to take my daughter from an F to an A in months. She is very personable and really connects with her students. She gave my daughter confidence in her ability to learn math and to actually enjoy it. Julissa makes it fun for her students to learn. Even with remote tutoring because of COVID-19 Julissa has still been able to provide an effective learning atmosphere for her students. There is no concept that she can’t help with. She is also very affordable and easy to work with. I highly recommend her if you need a tutor for your student.

I charge a flat rate per hour for my tutoring sessions. If I am required to travel, I will work with you to determine an appropriate rate in line with the length of time and distance traveled.
