About Shashank
Every question is a personal challenge on how to make the concept easy for the student to understand. My students have told me occasionally that they knew how to solve certain problems, but they just weren't sure why that was the way they did it. Example, why is it necessary to use the least common denominator while adding and subtracting fractions.
I am an electrical engineer by profession, but this is another of my passions: to explain the why, rather than just teaching a method. I bring examples to life through real world problems.
I am an electrical engineer with a very strong foundation in math applications. I have over the years, tutored from elementary to college levels and also helped prepare student for the Math portion of college entrance exams like SAT, GMAT, ASVAB, etc. I have also co-written a book for the SAT exam.

I charge anywhere from 35-80 an hour depending on the level. I do offer a discount on a regularly scheduled lesson plan, and I discuss these details more when I talk to the individual
