About Stephanie

I bring both personality and creativity to math sessions, and are am concerned with the intellectual and emotional well-being of all tutees/students. I currently have a long list of clients that we serve through one-on-one, in-home tutoring--and have both a high success rate and client loyalty with them.

My goal is to help students understand the foundation and theory behind math concepts, so that they can tackle any math problem with ease and confidence. Confidence is key!

I enjoy watching students have “lightbulb” moments when they finally understand a concept that I am teaching to them. It is very rewarding to see their confidence bloom!

I started teaching when I started tutoring my friends in high school. They always got better grades on tests and quizzes after I tutored then. As I grew older, I continued to tutor family and friends, all while running my business Infinity Math Tutoring.

I have enjoyed the personal gratification of tutoring since high school. Since I was 15 years old, I have shared my knowledge and love of mathematics with people of all ages. I attended Spelman College and Georgia Institute of Technology, where I received my Bachelor of Science in both Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering. I also tutored my peers at these institutions.

About the lesson

My students have ranged from age 6 to 70.

I have tutored Elementary, Middle, High School and College students.

I have tutored students from all ethnicities. I also have experience tutoring autistic students, both children and adults.

I would tell the student to look for a tutor that brings both personality and creativity to math sessions, and is concerned with the intellectual and emotional well-being of their students.

The tutor should help students understand the foundation and theory behind math concepts, so that they can tackle any math problem with ease and confidence. Confidence is key!

I charge 37.50 an hour for Elementary math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra1 and 2, Geometry and Trigonometry.

I charge 45.00 an hour for Pre-Calculus and Calculus 1 and 2.
