About Priyanshi
Hi! I’m Priyanshi, a friendly, patient and enthusiastic person who genuinely enjoys helping students understand subjects that may initially seem difficult or confusing.
I believe that learning is much more effective when students feel 'comfortable, encouraged and involved' in the process. My approach is not simply to teach a topic and move on, but to make sure the student actually understands it, knows how to apply it, and feels confident doing it independently.
I offer support in 'Maths, English and Science', including areas such as 'Trigonometry and Statistics', for students from Primary level through to GCSE.
I understand that every student has different strengths, weaknesses and ways of learning. Some students may need a topic explained in a completely different way, while others may simply need more practice and encouragement. I therefore adapt my lessons to the individual student rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
I like to make lessons **interactive and engaging**, using real-life examples, questions, discussions, step-by-step explanations, quizzes and exam-style practice where appropriate. I also encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes without feeling embarrassed, because I believe mistakes are an important part of learning.
My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop 'confidence, problem solving skills and a positive attitude towards learning'. Seeing a student go from saying “I don't understand this” to confidently solving a question themselves is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring for me.
