About Hunter

I am trained with a variety mediums from pencil to oil paints. I draw realistically, and can teach basics that will allow you to improve your work immensely! I am available weekends and weekdays from 6pm to 7pm

I have friends who are interested in learning to draw and I taught them some of the basics.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Illustration from the University of Hartford. I have always loved creating art, and over the last five years I have completed commission works for clients.

About the lesson

I start with the basics of finding the form of subjects. Next would be light and shadow, and then drawing objects including perspective. From there the nuances of completing a work would be explored.

Students have been high school age or older. A certain level of patience is required, as well as a desire to learn.

Find a teacher who is technically trained in a variety of mediums to provide the best education possible. Look at their portfolio to determine if they are the best choice for you.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should be able to ask questions at any point in the process.
