About James
I am a retired portrait photographer and was certified by PPA. I have been in the business over 45 years. I no longer have a website but have recent images on an iPad to show the type of work I do. I can teach basic photography to help you understand your camera so you can make good photographs and good exposures in manual or auto mode. I also have a portrait lesson for basic portrait photography. These lessons are one on one with notes and practical application. I am available at various times of the the day and through the week.
Went to school for photography in 1962. Was a navy photographer for 4 years and have worked in photography since then.

Deadly! I hired Jim to teach me the basics of photography as I needed some quick lessons to continue my own business. He was so kind and accommodating to my schedule, time frame and lack of knowledge in the industry. He is full of amazing knowledge and teaches it in Lemans terms to help absorb it. I would absolutely recommend him and his company for classes and photography in general! He is an amazing teacher and photographer!
