About Kitty

Hi, I'm Kitty! I love hanging out with kids, pets, & families...wandering around outside to see what kinds of interesting backgrounds & lighting we can find for personal & interactive portrait sessions. My favorite part of my photography is capturing a huge variety in the images while showing everyone’s unique personality.

Clients love how I'm able to connect on a personal level, making even something like a simple headshot session become an enjoyable, memorable time! Kids & pets make wonderful subjects for me, too, since I add fun candid pictures into the portrait mix, allowing them to do what they do best - be themselves!

I hope to see you & your loved ones for a photo session or a learning session very soon. Be sure to book in advance if you can - they tend to fill up fast!

It’s so fun making new pieces of photo “art” everyday!!!

I first went to art school where I studied all forms of art, including drawing, painting, sculpture, stained glass, and graphic design. Afterwards, I was placed in a specialty photography program where I learned traditional darkroom photography, digital photography, and photojournalism. :)

About the lesson

Before beginning lessons, I like to find out what photo experience (or related experience) student have. No experience is okay, too. This helps me to figure out where to begin. I like finding out my students’ interests also, so I can try to incorporate those into the photo shoots, making it more fun & exciting!
