About Brandon

I’ve been able to adapt easily to this ever-changing world of advertising photography due to my career path. Throughout college, I pursued photography, shooting everything from seniors, families, weddings, etc. However, I graduated college with a degree in education where I later became a 2nd grade teacher. Although I love teaching, I knew my heart was in the creative industry somehow but wasn’t quite sure in what capacity. So like many others, I pursued a plethora of jobs until I felt like I landed in the right space. This was a blessing because in every job, I have been able to take what I’ve learned and apply that to where I’m at now. I started out working as an extra on movie sets which gave me some insightful information into then transitioning to a Production Assistant on those movies and television shows. This sparked something in me where I felt I needed to create imagery that tells a story. Photography is where I feel most in-tuned with who I am as a person. I’ve now been able to travel the US and Europe photographing places and people that inspire me. I credit all my success and experiences to God for allowing me a unique start into this world of photography and motion and hope I can be a light to every person I come into contact with.

I love meeting new people and teaching them how to create a life for themselves that involves them pursuing their passions.

I started teaching back in college when I went to school for education rather than photography. I soon relized that I wanted to pursue photography full time but didn't want to give up on the teaching aspect since I loved that as well. This is why I now teach photography courses to students in my free time.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education and have taken multiple online and in person photography courses before reaching a level of expertise I have now.

About the lesson

I used to be a teacher so my process mimics that of an actual educator. I have an warm up activity I like to start with and give you an breifing on what we will be doing during the lesson. We then move on to the actual lesson and I end with a closing activity/challenge for you to practice your skills you learned that day.

I've worked with a variety of people ranging from kids all the way to elders.
