About Scott

Before I became a full-time photographer I was a partner in a mid-sized advertising agency. For many years, I worked with some of the best photographers in the country, learning from them along the way. I also went to photography workshops abroad to further broaden my skills. Currently I am a professional commercial photographe/videographer based just north of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.

Family and friends would constantly ask my for advice on how to use their cameras. I would show them how to understand light and the powerful tools that were built into their cameras. I liked seeing their reactions to the photos they were shooting after knowing a few basic principles of photography (and practicing of course!)

Over 20 years in advertising and training with some of the best photographers in the country.

About the lesson

First I assess the students experience and knowledge of photography, what gear they are using along with the types of photography they ar interested in. Then I would structure a training course to build their knowledge base to understand lighting, how to get the most from their photography gear, and subject composition.

I want to work with students who have a positive outlook on life and a thirst for learning. They should have a love of photography and want to grow and improve their skills.

$100 initial meeting to assess skill levels and to plan a specific set of instruction classes. Then $50 per 1-hour class.
