About Joseph

International portrait and documentary photographer based in the Midwest. Internationally known and recognized!

I love using photographs to show people the world around them. I love lifting someone up through a photograph and having them feel empowered. I love informing people of real events going on around the world.

A lot of friends and coworkers started asking me camera and photo related questions and I found that I loved it. I have since hosted one on one, group and weekend workshops

6 years in the business and some formal training for photo, video and editing

About the lesson

We start with camera basics such as settings, buttons and menu then move onto more advanced topics such as lighting, composition and theory

Anywhere from highschool to middle aged students who are passionate about learning!

My advice would be to find someone you click with as photography is a hard subject to teach and if you aren't well connected with the teacher you will have a harder time learning
