I've just decided to teach sewing actually, for a while I believed that my work was not up to par but I've came to an understanding that mistakes will happen even for the advanced so why not make this a learning experience for the both of us. I began sewing at an early age just by hand and then eventually graduated with a fashion background and learning how to use a sewing machine (it's so much faster). I currently am working to build a portfolio with teaching others, so it would be great to to start here. I'm looking forward to working with you!
I enjoy problem solving and having the ability to improve after each project. I'm not perfect but I do know how to bring my vision to life with some patience and persistence.
I went to Virginia State University for Fashion, Textiles, Apparel, and Merchandise Management. I've learned history of fashion to how to sew full garments. Even though it's not a well known Fashion School, I'm still happy to have learned more about sewing and creating beautiful pieces.

First I would like to start with the basics; sewing machine terminology, introducing different types of stitching, and introducing pattern making.
I would like to say please be patient with new teachers as I know that I'm one that would have to relax my nerves before starting anything new that involves teaching or working with someone I'm not used to.
