About Bashar

I am currently teaching Arabic to non-native speakers at the Language Center of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at (the University of Sherbrooke), and I worked as a teaching assistant at (McGill University in the Institute of Islamic Studies)
I have a Postgraduate Diploma and Bachelor's Degree in Arabic Language and Literature and more than 10 years of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers and to specialists as well. where I taught students proper grammar, literature, and composition. I also taught classes on Arabic theory and I helped students learn how to appreciate the Arabic language. I have appeared as a guest speaker for several conferences and I published several research papers on this subject.
I have the knowledge and experience needed to put together presentations and teach students about the origin of the Arabic language and about some of the changes that have taken place throughout the years. I have the passion and creativity to give lectures that generate interest and leave the students wanting to learn more.
I have outstanding research skills and a real interest in teaching others about the Arabic language to help them understand its history better. I believe this is an exciting subject and it is very rewarding to see students take an interest in learning more after listening to one of my lectures.
I have included a detailed look at my educational background, teaching career, and skills in the attached resume. I have also included information about the research papers I have written, so you can see samples of my work.
