About Nina

We are a small intimate hot yoga studio with cork floor and infrared heat. All of our instructors are certified by Yoga Alliance with a minimum of 200RYT qualifications. I personally have traveled all over the world learning about different styles of the yoga practice and have had loving and amaxing teachers help me to become the yogi that I am today. I was a competitive gymnast my entire life and have practiced yoga for most of my life. I began teaching about 10 years ago when I changed my career path and decided to open a yoga studio here in Fairfield.

I have my RYT500 which means that I have taught alot of classes lol but on a serious note this also means I have a very indepth understanding of the practice and can pass this on to new or practicing yogis with grace and humility. I love to practice will all styles and levels of experience.

About the lesson

When a new student comes to our studio, our instructors get to know them by asking what their goals are. I take things very slow and teach the postures in a very gentle way add in some laughter and we have a great time. I tease my beginners that they cannot keep claiming they are beginners and that makes them laugh. I hope if you are a beginner that you will trust me and my staff to help you find your practice so you can feel better too.

I have worked with all types, genders and levels. I welcome everyone to their mat.

I would recommend that the student be very clear and not shy about what they are looking for. I think most yoga teachers can teach anything they are asked to teach but with out knowing what the student needs or wants it is very difficult to help.

I enjoy health fairs because they allow me to talk with many people about the joys and benefits of yoga. I recently attended a health fair at a local insurance company and it was so nice to see how the company really cares about their employees.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Injuries, or vious negative experiences and why they feel this way. It could be helpful for the new teacher to understand. What specific fitness or meditation goals they may have will help the teacher know how deep to plan the training for practice and help recommend home practice that will help the student achieve their goals sooner.
