About Marla

We are a corporate mindful yoga and fitness studio that brings classes to your workplace or home. Our team visits clients from Rochester to Buffalo and through the southern tier. We also do private yoga classes at Yoga 170 in Fairport and Zoom based meditation classes.

I began teaching group classes in 2007 after getting my yoga teaching certification in India, my parents' native country. Over time I have used the skills I have learned to teach others how to control the body, mind, and change habits through yoga and mindfulness.

I am a certified and registered yoga teacher, meditation instructor, yoga nidra, mindful eating, yoga for vets, and yoga for anxiety and depression instructor.

About the lesson

Talk on the phone or via email to determine what the students' need is and if we can serve the student and work toward a common goal.

Many, many students but mostly those new to yoga.

Find a compassionate and kind teacher who can teach to you, who can be a mirror and space to hold all the ups and downs of your experience. These practices aren't hard but require consistency. Ask the teacher what their home practice is like and how they use the knowledge in daily life.
