About Margaret

Hello! My name is Margaret Lajara-Ruiz (AKA Maggie) I am a certified Yoga and Meditation teacher, Reiki level 1 & 2, Breath work Facilitator, Aromatherapy consultant and Chakra consultant. Journey with Maggie is a wellness practice with the sole purpose of helping women and mothers - especially mothers in the BIPOC community - to heal by using a number of healing modalities - such as Yoga, Meditation, Reiki, Breathwork, Aromatherapy.

I embarked on the self healing/discovery journey a few years ago, but was so stuck in my mind and my everyday life that I never really invested myself in this journey 100%. Even though Spirit, The Universe, God, Goddess, The Divine were always pushing me to dive into my self healing journey. It was not until my son was born prematurely in 2018 - after I got very sick with a severe and out of the blue case of preeclampsia- that I truly dedicated myself and became committed to my healing journey.

It is my intention to be of service to women that are going through a difficult time in their lives, that are on their self discovery journey and just want to find ways to align, become grounded or balanced, women that have experienced premature birth or birth trauma and need a place to heal those wounds or just need support and ways to help cope with the anxiety and fear that comes with the journey and experience of motherhood.

About the lesson

The first step is settting up a consultation to get to know the student and their needs more. After the consultation, we will set up a wellness and meetings plan. In this wellness plan, will have a detail of the services/modalities we will use.
