About Brian
My style of yoga focuses on detailed instruction for a more sustainable and long lasting practice that builds a deeper awareness of yourself.
I am 200-hour certified yoga instructor.
Giving the people on the mat an experience of themselves that they might not get from other places. When a student comes up to me and says "I've never done an inversion without an assist before" says a lot is happening.
Teaching was a leap of faith for me after 10 years as a yoga student, but the time was right to devote more time to this part of me after I was introduced to a yoga studio that could really build on the strong foundation I have developed with a very stellar group of yoga teachers at a gym.
I'm a psychotherapist and a 200 hour certified yoga teacher. My yoga work is spent in the gym and in the studio, so I am able to work with a wide range of capabilities and perspectives in yoga.

We build up from basics. First classes will be an introduction for the student and a chance for me to see what the strengths and growth areas are.
New and experienced students from late teens to 70 year olds; pregnant and post-partum; and those recovering from injuries; as well as other teachers and seasoned students.
Find someone who is willing to work with you just beyond your edge. This requires you and the teacher to be mindful and aware of each other. It means you will progress and develop in a more sustainable way.

Yes. I have the option of teaching private lessons at the studio where I work - but there is $20 upcharge to pay for the rental space.
$40 to $60 per lesson, based on frequency and depth of practice.
