I’ve spent the last 24 years in the "engine room" of the Nigerian banking sector. Most of my career has been dedicated to the high-stakes world of Operations and Internal Control, where accuracy isn't just a goal—it’s a requirement. Over two decades, I’ve navigated the complexities of financial systems across different regions, and that journey has taught me that textbooks often miss the most important part: how things actually work when the pressure is on.

Right now, I’m walking the same path as many of you. As a student member of the Chartered Risk Management Institute (CRMI), I’m currently preparing for my own final stage exams in April. I am also diving deep into advanced qualifications for fraud risk and fund management. Because I am actively studying these modern standards while leaning on 24 years of senior experience, I can offer you a unique perspective. I know exactly what the examiners are looking for, and I know how those concepts apply to a real office in Abuja or a remote international firm.

My teaching style is grounded in clear, honest communication. I don’t believe in over-complicating things with corporate jargon. About the lesson

My Tutoring Approach
I believe that a textbook can only take you so far. After spending over two decades in the banking halls, I’ve seen how "theory" actually plays out when things go wrong. My teaching focuses on bridging that gap. We won't just look at formulas; we will dive into real-world case studies to see how Risk Management and Quantitative Analysis function in a live environment. I love using live Excel modeling during our sessions, and I’ve developed a "Control Check" system to make sure you’ve truly grasped a concept before we move to the next topic. My goal is to give you skills you can use on Monday morning at the office, not just on an exam paper.

What a Typical Lesson Looks Like
I usually find that 60 to 90 minutes is the "sweet spot" for deep learning without burnout. We always start with a quick 10-minute catch-up to clear any confusion from our last session. Then, we spend about 40 minutes breaking down the core concept of the day. I prefer my classes to be a conversation, not a lecture. We dedicate the final 30 minutes to a practical drill or a tough exam-style case study. This way, you leave the session feeling confident and ready to apply what you've learned.

My Background and Experience
I come to you with 24 years of hands-on experience in the Nigerian banking sector, specifically within Operations and Internal Control. I am also currently walking the same path as many of you—I am a student member of a professional risk management institute and am working toward advanced qualifications in fraud risk. This means I combine decades of senior leadership experience with a very fresh, "in-the-trenches" understanding of what it takes to pass modern professional certification exams today.
