About Elise
I am an experienced Economics tutor with 16 years of teaching students at both high school and college levels. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 200 to 250 students, helping them improve their understanding, confidence, and academic performance.
My teaching philosophy is simple. I believe every student can learn Economics when it is explained in a clear and practical way. I focus on building strong basics first, then slowly moving to advanced topics. I connect concepts like demand and supply, markets, and economic policies to real-life examples so students can understand them easily.
I am patient, supportive, and flexible in my teaching style. I take time to understand each student’s learning pace and adjust my lessons accordingly. I encourage questions and discussions so students feel comfortable and involved during sessions.
I also help students with exam preparation, assignments, and problem-solving techniques. Many of my students have improved their grades and developed a deeper interest in Economics. My goal is not only to help students score well but also to make them think clearly and confidently about economic ideas.
With my experience and student-focused approach, I aim to make learning Economics simple, engaging, and effective for every learner.

My teaching approach in Economics is focused on clear understanding, creativity, and practical learning. I teach school and university students by connecting economic theories to real-life situations. This helps students see how concepts like demand and supply, inflation, and markets work in the real world.
I cover a wide range of subjects including microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, international economics, public finance, and development economics. I explain each topic step by step so students can build strong fundamentals. I also include case studies and simple examples to make learning more engaging.
Creativity is an important part of my teaching. I use diagrams, graphs, and everyday comparisons to explain complex ideas. This makes it easier for students to understand and remember key concepts. I also encourage students to think critically and ask questions during sessions.
I am very understanding and supportive in my approach. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style based on their needs and pace. I create a comfortable environment where students feel confident to share their doubts.
I also help students with exam preparation, assignments, and problem-solving techniques. I guide them in structuring answers clearly and managing time effectively during exams. My goal is to not only improve grades but also develop a deep understanding of Economics.
