About Luca

I bring 12 years of ESL teaching experience to my work with high school and college students, helping them achieve both academic success and real-world fluency in English. My teaching philosophy emphasises personalisation, ensuring that every lesson is adapted to the student’s goals, abilities, and preferred learning methods.

I combine structured instruction in grammar and vocabulary with speaking, writing, and listening exercises, using real-life examples to make learning practical and engaging. I also focus on building confidence, helping students overcome hesitation and actively participate in conversations, presentations, and classroom discussions.

My unique strength lies in simplifying complex concepts and providing clear, actionable guidance. Throughout my career, I have helped students improve exam performance, develop strong communication skills, and become confident, independent English users ready to succeed in any academic or professional setting.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching methodology is guided by Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving (C³P). Creativity is fostered through storytelling, role-playing, and interactive projects that encourage students to explore ideas and use English confidently.

Communication is emphasised through discussions, debates, and group exercises that build fluency, listening skills, and comprehension. Compassion ensures lessons are personalised for each student, with support and encouragement provided to help learners develop confidence and motivation.

Problem-solving is integrated through scenario-based exercises, practical challenges, and critical thinking tasks that teach students to apply English effectively while enhancing analytical skills. I also cover complementary subjects such as writing skills, reading comprehension, and vocabulary development to reinforce learning.

This approach cultivates learners who are creative, confident, empathetic, and capable of applying English in academic, professional, and everyday contexts.
