About Adam
My name is Adam and I am a high achieving student currently studying A-levels in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I achieved top grades at GCSE, including A’s and A*s, and performed among the top students in my year. This gives me a strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and what it takes to succeed.
I decided to become a tutor because I know how difficult these subjects can feel at times. I was once in the same position as many students, trying to find the best way to revise and improve. Through experience, I developed effective techniques that made a real difference to my grades.
Now, I want to help other students by sharing those methods, simplifying difficult topics, and building their confidence so they can achieve their full potential.

My approach to tutoring is focused on clarity, efficiency, and results. I understand that many students struggle because concepts aren’t explained in a simple way, so I break down difficult topics into clear, easy-to-understand steps.
Teaching techniques & methodology:
I use a structured approach:
First, I identify the student’s weak areas
Then, I explain the concept in a simple, exam focused way
We then practise together using real GCSE-style questions
Finally, I help the student develop exam techniques to maximise marks
I also focus on active learning, meaning students don’t just listen—they practise, ask questions, and build confidence as we go.
Typical lesson length:
Lessons are usually 60 minutes, which is ideal for staying focused while covering a full topic. Longer sessions can be arranged if needed.
Qualifications & experience:
I have achieved A’s and A*s in GCSE Maths and Science, and I understand exactly what examiners look for. Having recently gone through the exams myself, I can teach the most effective methods and shortcuts to succeed.
