About Kenzie
My maths lessons are built for students who want strong results in exams like the SAT, GRE, and GMAT. Each session is intensive and focused on solving problems quickly and accurately under pressure. I teach you how to spot common test traps and avoid mistakes that many test-takers make. We work through past papers to understand patterns and predict what types of questions might appear. Timed drills help strengthen your speed, accuracy, and decision-making. I guide students who enjoy deep reasoning as well as those who want to improve their analytical confidence. My approach is strategic and very clear. You’ll learn how to break down tough problems, manage time wisely, and stay calm even when the clock is running. Every lesson pushes you to think sharper and work more efficiently. We also build mental resilience so you don’t freeze, panic, or overthink during the exam. With consistent practice and targeted feedback, your confidence grows step by step. My goal is to ensure you walk into your test knowing exactly how to tackle each question. I’m a Maths tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Master’s in Computational Mathematics. I focus on helping non-STEM students understand advanced maths in a clear, meaningful way. Many of my students come from liberal arts and humanities backgrounds, and I love guiding them towards a new appreciation of the subject. Instead of emphasising long calculations, I highlight the ideas, principles, and patterns that truly shape mathematical thinking. I use everyday analogies to make complex topics feel familiar and less overwhelming. Historical stories and real-world context help students see why certain theories were developed and how they continue to influence modern life. I break down abstract concepts into simple, intuitive steps that build confidence over time. Whether we’re exploring functions, logic, or geometry, I show how the “big ideas” connect across different areas of mathematics.
