About Amaya
I am a Math tutor with over 3 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science. I enjoy helping students not only solve problems but also communicate their mathematical thinking clearly. My focus is on improving mathematical communication and exposition skills for students at all levels. I break down complex concepts into simple, logical steps, making them easier to grasp. I guide students in writing coherent mathematical arguments that are both precise and easy to follow. Whether it’s explaining a proof or outlining a solution method, I emphasize structure and clarity. I have worked with university students on essays, research papers, and presentations that involve mathematical content. This includes helping them organize ideas, use correct notation, and present solutions in a professional manner. I also coach students on how to speak about mathematics with confidence and precision.
