About Ahmed Hassam

I am a passionate teacher and an engineering professional holding a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Over the past 14+ years, I have dedicated myself to helping school and college students overcome their academic anxieties and reach their full potential in Mathematics and the Physical Sciences.

In addition to my extensive private tutoring experience, I spent more than a decade working as a university lecturer. This background has given me a deep, advanced understanding of physics and chemistry principles, but more importantly, it taught me how to break down complex, intimidating scientific theories into simple, logical steps that anyone can follow.

My teaching philosophy revolves around building core confidence. I understand that subjects like Physics and General Science can often feel overwhelming to middle school and lower secondary students. Because of this, I focus heavily on creating a highly encouraging, patient environment where no question is a bad question.

I work closely with my students to identify their foundational gaps, and equip them with the precise problem-solving skills they need to excel in their school assessments and international exams. I am deeply committed to my students' long-term academic success and look forward to helping your child thrive.

About the lesson

I conduct online lessons using modern digital tools, including a high-response graphic tablet and an interactive whiteboard, ensuring an engaging, clear, and highly visual virtual classroom experience for younger learners.

I have built a vast library of middle school and lower secondary science resources in digital form—including detailed visual diagrams, interactive worksheets, revision summaries, and topic-specific practice quizzes—which I share seamlessly with my students through live screen sharing or direct file transfers.

I customize my teaching methodology according to the unique requirements, learning pace, and school curriculum of each student. Younger students are welcome to bring their own school homework, science projects, lab concepts, or textbooks to our sessions, or they can entirely rely on my curated materials to master their subject content.

I bring an immense amount of patience to my sessions, happily breaking down complex ideas and answering questions as many times as required to make sure the foundations of biology, chemistry, and physics are crystal clear. Whether it’s preparing for an upcoming school quiz, mastering a challenging new topic, or building general academic confidence, you will find me to be the right choice!
