About Eliora
Hello! I hold an MSc and have spent over 4 years tutoring Physics to more than 200 students across GCSE, A-Level, and university level. My specialist areas include Classical Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetism, Waves and Optics, Nuclear and Particle Physics, and Quantum Mechanics. I also provide strong support for the mathematical tools Physics demands at every level — calculus, vectors, complex numbers, and for university students, differential equations and vector calculus. I am deeply passionate about Physics and bring that enthusiasm alongside clear, structured, highly effective teaching into every single session.

Teaching Physics effectively requires developing both deep conceptual understanding and strong mathematical problem-solving ability simultaneously. I begin each new topic by grounding it in real-world context so students immediately understand its relevance. I then follow a structured cycle of concept explanation, formula derivation with full physical reasoning, worked examples, and independent practice. I never teach formulas as things to memorize without understanding — every formula is derived and explained, because this is what gives students the ability to adapt their knowledge flexibly to any question type.
I use extensive past paper practice and teach a reliable, systematic method for approaching any Physics exam question: read carefully, identify what is given and what is needed, select the right principles, work through methodically with clear notation, and sense-check the answer for physical reasonableness. Unit analysis, graphical skills, and experimental design are all covered thoroughly, as they are consistently examined and consistently under-prepared by most students.
