I have discovered that I gain most fulfilment by helping other Fashion enthusiasts whether I am training a Junior Designer in the industry and seeing them flourish or taking a Fashion Design student under my wing in my role as Fashion Mentor at The University of Westminster and seeing them thrive from 2nd year student and graduating with a showcase final collection!

About the lesson

I love to take time to get to know my students so that I can tailor the way I teach them , since we are all so different! It's important that I understand what you need from me so I can focus on that and everything else can follow.

We can get through a lot in an hour which also leads to a clear plan of action for the student i.e. homework!

I graduated from the University of Westminster in 2007 with a degree in Fashion Design and an array of experience across luxury and commercial brands including Moschino and ASOS, with my final full-time role as Head of Design.

I have 16 years experience in the Fashion industry, 4 years experience as a Freelance Designer/Consultant and 7 years experience as a Fashion Mentor at The University of Westminster as part of their Future Ready Mentoring programmes where I empower and inspire the next generation, facilitating personal and professional growth by sharing the knowledge and insights that I have learned through the years. I enable mentees to develop their skills for the workplace and increase their employability by helping them learn about the opportunities available in specific areas in the Fashion industry.

My lessons are suitable for all ages, whether you want to understand how to put your ideas onto paper, to how you can develop a fashion collection from scratch.
