About Sasha-Lee

Hi there!

My name is Sasha, I am a Fashion Design Graduate with experience in the Design sector.

I obtained my degree in Fashion Design from well accredited Fashion School in South Africa with Cum-Laude.

I have experience running my own fashion brand which included roles such as trend research, fashion illustration, fabric sourcing, production, surface design, website design, social media and more! These are all skills that each student will become familiar with and implement within their own projects.

My main focus is on digital design, as that's where I believe the direction of fashion is headed. I love keeping up to date with fashion trends and we will delve into fashion research and trend prediction through my lessons.

Furthermore, I love helping other's bring their fashion ideas from concept to life! This is one of the main goals of our lessons.
I would love to share what I learnt along my studies and work and help fast-track someone into the world of becoming a designer.

About the lesson

We will be following a guide similar to the approach of the lessons I obtained with a Fashion Design Degree but fast-tracked and covering all necessary skills in order to propel you into reaching your potential as a designer.

My style of online teaching is very up to date with latest trends as the design sector is fast-paced and constantly evolving.

You will learn how to conduct trend research, design a fashion range from scratch, use the latest fashion design software, learn about the business and marketing side of fashion along with the full design and production process of garments.

A typical lesson will tackle one of the above mentioned points or a specialised topic within fashion design, we will cover the theory, discuss my experience or what I learned about the topi in fashion school and we will have a practical task to implement the knowledge we have learnt about the task. All lessons are interactive as fashion design is extremely practical.
